After de-stemming and slight crushing, part of the batch fermented in traditional 1,200L clay pots and the other part fermented in a vat at controlled temperature. It aged for 12 months in 250L and 300L 1st and 2nd year French Oak barrels.
Grape Varieties:
Alfrocheiro,Trincadeira,Aragonêz
Tasting Notes:
Wine with aromas of red fruits, notes of blackberry and aromatic herbs. In the mouth it has ripe fruit, creamy and enveloping with a slightly toasted barrel finish. Fresh, with good balance, it reveals silky tannins and good volume.
Store and Serve Advices:
Service Temperature between 17ºC and 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Meat, game, slow cooked roasts and cheese.
