Tasting Notes:
Old golden colour. Complex aromas of vanilla, with some notes of jam and spices. On the palate, good sized, towering fruit notes of nuts (hazelnuts) and candied fruit (orange). A delicate wine with a long, velvety finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Bottle should be in the upright position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. After opening, consume preferably in 18 to 20 weeks. Port wine is a natural wine, so it may form some natural sediment with time. Pour it carefully, so it does not become cloudy. Should be served at a temperature between 10º and 12º C.
Food Pairing:
Serve with toasted almonds and game meat. It is also delicious to enjoy with almond or hazelnut tarts, candy eggs, puddings and ice cream with flavours of dried fruit.
