One of the most prestigious international wine competitions in the wine world was recently held, we speak of course about the German Mundus Vini 2022, where more than 12,000 wines arrive annually to be tasted and evaluated by the prestigious competition jury panel.
The objective of the competition is to recognize and promote the quality of wines, also helping the consumer in his journey of choice.
The Grand Gold medal is awarded to wines with a minimum of 95 points, considered extraordinary by the juries. And this year, we highlight here the Val Moreira Reserve Red 2018 wine, which managed to obtain the maximum distinction in the competition. A wine made using the most traditional varieties of the Douro, with floral aromas, black plums and red fruits, and a light touch of vanilla, caramel and spices. In the mouth it is vigorous and smooth, with fine tannins. Elegant and well structured. Recognition more than deserved!
