Today we highlight Sovina, the pioneer of this concept in our country. The driving force behind the idea was Alberto Abreu, after several years of deepening his beer knowledge. Alberto's passion was joined by Arménio Martins and Pedro Sousa, motivated by the common enthusiasm for beer and its manufacture, forming the company Os Três Cervejeiros.
The project started in 2009, with a beer store dedicated to the training and availability of equipment and raw materials for the production of homemade beer. Later, in 2011, after two years of preparing experimental batches and compiling recipes, the first Sovina beers were produced and bottled, using only natural ingredients.
Currently the Sovina brand was acquired by the Esporão group, this acquisition was motivated by the opportunity to create a quality beer market in Portugal, similar to what happened with wines and olive oils. The Sovina brand is a reference in the craft beer market, and has a positioning aligned with the Esporão group: high product quality, a complete portfolio and an excellent image.
Craft beers are for all tastes, from the most refreshing, to the most intense and complex; to accompany a meal or simply to enjoy the sunset, it all depends on your preferences.
