Winemaking:
Grapes from a single plot, with extreme vines from the Touriga Nacional variety, in simple Guyot. Vinha do Colmeal has a plot of land using the vertical vine technique, facing south. Manual harvest, during the month of September. The grapes were received at the cellar, in the special line, with total destemming and manual selection of clusters and later “grape by grape” by an optical selection machine. Vinification was carried out in a lagar, with pre-fermentation maceration and temperature control. 12 months in used French oak barrels, 300 and 500 liters.

Deep violet colour. The aroma is exuberant, with very expressive ripe fruit, especially black plum and sour cherry. In the mouth it impresses with its balance and seductive tannins. The finish is fresh, long and full of fruit.

Store and Serve Advices:
It should be consumed at a temperature between 16º to 18ºC.

Food Pairing:
Pairs perfectly with intense cheeses, spicy dishes and game.
