Contrary to the previous three years, there were no periods of intense heat in the summer - the temperature never exceeded 38ºC - and this, combined with well-timed rains, resulted in a uniformly matured crop, producing musts rich in sugar, anthocyanins and aroma.

Tasting Notes:
Deep and opaque garnet colour. The nose has a lot of definition and vigour, with sweetly ripened black cherries, blueberries and violets. Very light and alive. The mouth is sweet, ripe and elegant with a charming posture and tension, certainly the best Croft since 1966. Very ripe tannins with black cherries, blueberries, cassis and a minerality to penetrate at the end.
Store and Serve Advices:
Decant and serve at 17º - 18º C.
Food Pairing:
Goes well with cheeses from Serra, Stilton, Gorgonzola and others fat cheeses. Ideal to accompany sweet desserts or with fruit jams.
