Winemaking:
Totally destemmed grapes followed by a slow fermentation with temperature control up to 27 ºF degrees. Not filtered. This Colheita was made with grapes of our main vineyard, the Quinta Vale d’Agodinho and it is aged in oak barrels for 13 years.

Tasting Notes:
Dark amber coloured. Full aromas of red fruit, like cherries and blueberries, a bit flowery. Full of lovely tones of ripe fruit. Fresh acidity and velvety tannins. Enjoyable length and pleasant aftertaste.

Store and Serve Advices:
The wine should be stored in a fresh, dry and dark place, without temperature variations, and the bottle must remain up-right. As a natural product, the Port Wine is subject to create deposit when ageing. To guarantee the plenitude of its freshness and quality, the wine shall be consumed preferentially with the shortest time in bottle. Serve at a temperature between 12 and 14ºC.

Food Pairing:
Take a Colheita Port after meal with creamy cheeses like Brie and Camembert from France or Serra from Portugal. Take it also with grilled chestnuts or crème brûlée. If you are a smoker, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy a Colheita with a good cigar.
