Quinta das Carvalhas, a rich and characterful Port from a spectacular, rugged, but neatly terraced, mountainous valley, full of character and rich in beauty, enjoying unique climatic and soil conditions, the result of the dedicated culture of the vines over hundreds of year’s and a vinification technique individual to the region. The fermentation of the Ruby Reserve takes place in stainless steel auto-winemakers, then moves to old oak vats for an aging period of four years, and it is then called as Ruby Reserve.

Tasting Notes:
Ruby colour with good structure, rich in aromas of very ripe red fruit with vegetal notes, is characterized by its softness and harmony on the palate.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store bottles on their sides in a cool place (12ºC to 14ºC) away from direct light. Serve at 17-18ºC. Drink when released.
Food Pairing:
Serve with blue cheese, mature cheddar, nuts, and chocolate desserts.

Almost black in color, this is a big, bold and rich ruby. Dark berry fruits are sustained by a sweet, jammy character. The tannins do give the wine structure, but the rich sweetness dominates. Drink now.
