July is just around the corner, which means that there is already a destination of choice around here: Algarve! There is no lack of sun, beautiful beaches, a sea as far as the eye can see and delicious cuisine. And what is the perfect company for this scenario? A white wine produced exactly in this region, where we all head in the summer.

With mostly clayey or sandy soils, the vines are protected from the cold north winds by the Algarve mountains, the Atlantic influence is mild, there is a strong influence from the Mediterranean and the rains are only sporadic, resulting in high maturation.

Síria and Arinto are the queen varieties, however, in recent times other national and international varieties have appeared with beautiful results. But in general terms we are talking about delicate and soft whites, with a citrus/straw color and with a characteristic flavor of a warm region.
