The history of Quinta do Piloto covers four generations of a family that grew up connected to the history of Palmela over a century, and which was established after investing in viticulture in full expansion with the planting of vineyards by that time. Thus began the contact of the Cardoso family to wine, which in the past, its founder Humberto Cardoso, became one of the greatest wine growers in the region and stood out for his dedication to Palmela.
But it was only in mid-2008, in the fourth generation of the family, that the dream of bottling their own wines became a reality, due to the family experience and the extensive area of old vineyards, the Quinta do Piloto wines were born.
Quality wines that express the work and care to produce a dream, ranging from table wine, from the Collection range, revealing four monovarietals, in addition to the Family Collection, with two varieties, passing through the Reserve range and the Vinhas dos Pardais label, not to mention the two varieties of Muscat, very famous in the region and a sparkling wine from the grape varieties Castelão, Arinto and Chardonnay.

In the Muscat line, the Quinta do Piloto Moscatel Roxo Superior is made from a unique variety that, a few years ago, was on the verge of extinction. Moscatel Roxo is a rare variety, known for making one of the best liqueurs in Portugal. Revealing a topaz color, it brings complex aromas with hints of caramel, orange and spices and nuances of linden tea.
