Winemaking:
After gentle crushing with partial disengagement, a very intense vat maceration is followed during the period of alcoholic fermentation, with which it is desired to obtain the highest possible extraction of the quality constituents present in the films, at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C. During this phase, a strict control of the fermentation temperatures, the density, is carried out in order to select the ideal moment for the addition of the brandy, which is necessary to stop the fermentation and to "benefit" the wine. These two factors, decided by the winemaker on a case-by-case basis, determine the maceration time and its final residual sugar content. After the harvest the wine remains in the Douro, being subject, during the winter, to the first raft. During this, the necessary final adjustments of the alcohol content and acidity are made. He is transported to Porto during the following spring, entering the usual process of aging Port wine in oak vats. During this period, the wines are subject to numerous raffles, analysis and tests, which allow to accompany their aging, and act with stockings and corrections whenever the evidence determines. The final lot is obtained after careful selection of the wines, in the insistent demand of the best quality.

Store and Serve Advices:
Store horizontally at a ± 15º C, constant temperature. Best served at 15 - 18ºC.
