Winemaking: The grapes are harvested by variety and vineyard plots in boxes of 20kg. After being chosen and fully destemmed they’re crushed. Then the grapes are forwarded to the fermentation vat where they stay at least 5 days to ferment at a temperature of 26/27ºC.After this process they suffer a final pressing before they are stored in vat. Aging for 10 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: Intense red colour with violet notes. Aromas of very ripe red fruits, cocoa and spices, integrated with soft wood notes. The palate is elegant, with good acidity and velvety tannins, resulting in a structured and harmonious wine.
Store and Serve Advices: It should be served at a temperature of 16ºC to 18ºC. Keep the bottle in horizontal position away from direct light.
Food Pairing: Perfect company for meat roasts or traditional Portuguese cuisine. Also good with strong cheeses.
