Product details
The year 2024 marked the return of an "old-fashioned" harvest in the Douro, with moderate conditions during the vegetative and growth cycles that provided gradual and balanced ripening, as well as an ideal relationship between sugars, acidity and phenolic content. Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca stood out in 2024, with an ideal Baumé degree, between 13º and 14º. The Touriga Nacional lagar recorded an impressive 13.9°, although the yields were only 500 g per vine - proof of the extraordinary concentration achieved.
Grape Varieties:
Field Blend
Tasting Notes:
Deep, almost black, indigo-blue colour. Exuberant aromas of mango and passion fruit, a signature of The Stone Terraces Vintage Ports. The fragrant scent also reveals orange blossom and the most subtle notes of mint and eucalyptus, which indicate its Malvedos origin. On the palate, it is ample, sumptuous, and irresistibly seductive, with layers of complexity that reveal wild berries, fine tannins, and black tea. The broad and enveloping structure reveals a purity of fruit, luxurious tannins, and vibrant acidity.

Disclaimer:
The photo shown is a copy of one of the bottles we have available for delivery. Keep in mind that the older the wine, the more likely the bottle will have some external dirt or slightly damaged labels. This does not mean, however, that the wine is not in a condition to be consumed.
The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
