Product details
The traditional production approach, including the meticulous process of foot treading in 1000 L vats and fermentation in old chestnut barrels with 30% stems for 18 days, highlights the richness and depth of this unique wine. Each step, from the two daily pump-overs to the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats, is carried out manually, preserving the authenticity and integrity of the wine.
Grape Varieties:
Bastardo
Tasting Notes:
With a deep garnet colour, the nose expresses plenty of fresh red fruit (cherry, plum), floral and vegetal nuances, as well as some typical rusticity of the grape variety. On the palate it is elegant, intense, very balanced and with a long finish that leaves you wanting more. Although it perfectly complements grilled meat dishes, pizza, and baked fish with tomato sauce, it is also perfect on its own on a warm late afternoon. This wine displays a generous breadth on the palate, where dense, yet elegant tannins dance in harmony, culminating in a long and memorable finish.
