The grapes for this wine are mostly from Vale de Mendiz, in the heart of Cima Corgo. Winemaking was done the old-fashioned way. The grapes were trampled on foot and fermented in mills and aging in our cold cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia in large vats of old wood.

Ruby color of medium intensity with an aroma with some exuberance of cherries and black plums with a superb purity of fruit and freshness. In the mouth, freshness and primary fruit are very present and magnificently integrated with a seductive acid essence of eloquent tannins.
Store and Serve Advices:
The wine should be stored in a fresh, dry and dark place, without temperature variations. The bottle must remain up-right. As a natural product, the Port Wine is subject to create deposit when ageing. To guarantee the plenitude of his quality, this wine can be kept in the bottle up to 3 years and, once opened, should be consumed within 1 year. Serve at a temperature between 12 and 14ºC.
Serve simple, fresh or with ice, it is excellent as an aperitif, being equally delighted in any time of the day. Its versatility and freshness express its potential in a diversity of desserts and Cheeses of medium intensity. Combine with strawberry and yogurt mousse, clafouti of red fruits or puff of camembert with raspberry and rosemary. The multiplicity of possible harmonies is superb, having the consumer the pleasure to go in search of new flavours.
