Singeverga liqueur is produced by the Benedictine monks of the Monastery of Singeverga, in Roriz, Santo Tirso, and is considered Portugal's only exclusively monastic liqueur. It is made by directly distilling a secret combination of spices and aromatic plants according to a recipe developed within the monastery.
