Quinta do Carmo is a historic Alentejo estate near Estremoz whose origins date back to the 17th century, when the property was associated with King João IV. After a period involving a partnership with the Rothschild family, the estate became fully part of Bacalhôa in 2008 and remains an important center for the group's Alentejo wine production.
