Herdade do Perú is a historic family estate near the Serra da Arrábida, with a connection to vineyards and winemaking documented as far back as the early 18th century. Its vineyards were replanted after João Brito e Cunha took over the estate in 2016, with a strong commitment to sustainable and organic viticulture and hand-harvested grapes.
