UP TO 11% OFF: Table wines from the islands of Azores and Madeira
Publié : 11/10/2017 - Catégories : Our Selection

Today we bring you wines that are produced in our very own archipelagos of Azores and Madeira. Although they’re not particularly known for the wines we bring you today, these are still exceptional selections ready for the dining table and for a great meal.
Even though Madeira is known for its fortified wines, the typical Madeira wine, today we bring you the already-established and centuries-old brand of Cossart Gordon, which brings, too, its Atlantis brand. These selections range from the 7€ rosé up to the 16€ Verdelho, such a typical Madeira caste variety.
Azores, on the other hand, brings local and other experimental producers, like Adega Cooperativa dos Biscoitos and even António Maçanita’s Fita Preta. While the first brand brings out the Magma and Muros de Magma selections, which are two incredible white wines, Fita Preta brings special editions, like they always seem to do. The Rosé, from 2011, is one you should definitely look into, being just under 10€ today. The same goes for their other white selections, the Arinto whites from 2015 and 2014. What distinguishes these two wines is not only the price, but also the way the taste. Needless to say, the 2014 selection is a lot more intense and flavorful than the 2015 counterpart, being a great choice for more expensive dishes and, who knows, more special occasions.
