Winemaking:
Manual harvesting in boxes of 12 kg. In the cellar, the grapes were subjected to a careful selection on a vibration-based mat, and were de-stained with a slight crushing of the berry. Stepped on foot, in a stone wine press, with all its loons and only with indigenous yeasts. Stage in clay hoists, for a period of 16 months and eight months in bottle.

Alicante Bouschet, Petit Verdot, Trincadeira, Tannat

Tasting Notes:
Dense and stratified, with expressive balsamic notes, and red and black fruits. Discrete minerality marked by graphite notes. In the mouth it is polished and velvety, with expressive fruity aromas, firm and lively tannin, and an initially discrete but very expressive finish. Very persistent and pure.

Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at a temperature of 16-18°C.

Food Pairing:
Enjoy with roasted, slightly caramelized red meat or game with black fruit jelly. Match also with a powerful Portuguese cheese from “Azeitão” or a traditional “Roquefort”.
