Winemaking:
Vintage Port is a wine of a single harvest of outstanding quality. The wine must be bottled between the second and third year of age, maturing henceforth in bottle.

Tinta Roriz,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional
Tasting Notes:
Center of opaque purple colour, with a lively magenta aureole. The nose shows the characteristic aromas of ripe berries and compote of the Vintages of Quinta da Roêda, which combine with exotic touches of tropical fruit and subtle aromas of aromatic herbs. The notes of liquorice, dark chocolate and spices reinforce its opulent character. On the palate it is soft, smooth and rich, with the flavour of wild fruit compote. The silky texture of the wine is supported by the perfectly integrated tannins that emerge at the end, giving it an attractive strength and vigour. With a thin, seductive nose, a feature common to Vintage Port Wines of 2015, it will continue to gain elegance and complexity over the next three decades.
Store and Serve Advices:
Should be opened two hours before serving and decanted. Serve between 17º and 18º C. Store the bottle on its side, in a cool, dry and dark place.
Food Pairing:
Vintage Ports are after meal drinks. Take them with cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola. But you can also incorporate them into a meal, combining for instance a Steak au Poivre with a young Vintage.
