really enjoyed the wines from Portugal vineyards . originally looking for a good supplier of white port and they are certainly that . they have got the transport costs of shipping from Portugal down to a sensible level - well done . my one hope is that as they such a large range of value wines they might do what the wine society do and that is offer cases of 12 mixed so we can try more of their hugwe range .

Resinous aromas of eucalyptus and rock rose flower, combined with herbaceous notes of wild lavender and mint. The palate is full and round, full of plums, cherries and cassis compote. The tannins, well integrated, remain discrete average in taste but emerge to give attractive claw over, delicious and fruity end.

Winemaking:
Roeda is Vintage Port of a very good year from the Croft estate, Quinta da Roeda, arguably the best property in the Douro Valley. This Single Estate Vintage Port will normally mature more quickly than the main classic vintages and will show its robust style to perfection within ten to fifteen years.

Tinta Roriz,Touriga Franca,Touriga Nacional

Tasting Notes:
Black as ink, with purple reflections. The nose, exotic and intoxicating, abounds in flower essences and the woods that contrast with a background of rich fruit and delicious. Resinous aromas of eucalyptus and rock rose flower, combined with herbaceous notes of wild lavender and mint. The palate is full and round, full of plums, cherries and cassis compote. The tannins, well integrated, remain discrete average in taste but emerge to give attractive claw over, delicious and fruity end.

Store and Serve Advices:
Recommended serving at a temperature of 16 to 18ºC

Food Pairing:
This vintage can be enjoyed by itself but it goes equally well with full cheeses and chocolate or red fruit deserts. A strong cigar can also be the ideal accompainment.

Vibrant colour. Very fruity, floral nose with a spicy edge. Deliciously vibrant fruit here. Aromatic, floral and focused.

Especiado of aromas, is very closed and stored fruit. In mouth is more generous in aromas, there appears more mature red fruit, the style is rounded and very well done. A safe bet.
