Winemaking:
Acclaimed by everyone as being the “queen” grape variety for white wines in Portugal, Alvarinho is at the heart of this mono-varietal wine. When they reach the vinification centre, the grapes are submitted to pellicular maceration which is followed by soft pressing at a low pressure. Subsequently, alcoholic fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures, followed by ageing in stainless steel vats during which the fine lees are maintained in suspension which allows the retention of the freshness and fruity aromas of the grape variety. Before its bottling, the wine is carefully filtered and cold.
