I bought some wine from this company as a special treat for my husband, its wine that we drink in madeira and it was special to us. I changed my order slightly to include two separate types, this was done with no bother, even though the order was changed a little later. The wine was delivered well in good time, the price was great, couldn't believe it. I will definitely be using this company again.

The age of Grão Vasco Reserva do Museu 1996 is revealed in the orange colour of the wine and the tertiary aromas present. The aroma also reveals some fruit, hints of the forest, with pine needles, eucalyptus and a good plant component that gives freshness to the bouquet. It is a wine that has managed to keep its freshness alive over time and become more complex and elegant. Wines like this don’t let us forget that Dão is a region where time is essential and it plays a key role in the excellence of the older wines.

The wine was then removed to ageing vats, where alcoholic fermentation took place. Grão Vasco Reserva do Museu 1996 matured for 9 months in used French oak barrels, after malolactic fermentation.
