I recently ordered the licor Nacional and an almond liqueur, following a recent trip to Portugal. Both are simply divine! The order from the second I ordered it to delivery was easy with a daily update a a tracker website. Delivery only took 5 days and arrived well packaged. Value for money is excellent and I will definitely be back when I run out! Thank you for helping me find something to remind me of my fabulous holiday and to bring a fabulous taste of Portugal home with me

Fantastic wines at great prices. So much Portuguese wine to explore. Delivery is 4-5 days but definitely worth the wait.

Winemaking:
The 2014 viticultural year was characterised by a year of less quantity but of best quality. Everything indicated that it would be a premature year, due to the good amount of water accumulated in the winter and spring. The maturation phase was premature, which has allowed harvest to begin in August. All plots were harvested during a period of nice weather, from 23 August to 21 September. Sourced from vineyards situated on the right side of the Douro river, the grapes were transported in a refrigerated truck during the night. Following careful selection at the winery's entrance, the grapes were delicately pressed at low temperature, to avoid oxidation and the extraction of gross lees. After a natural decantation of about 24 hours, part of the must fermented in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel vats during 8 months, with its wild yeasts. It was bottled in May 2015.
