My first experience buying from portugalvineyards.com was quite good. Easy to use page, not bad service and delivery time to another side of EU also acceptable. What they could improve in there page is more easy way to find products with discount and also if they could find ways to reduce delivery price they would be wonderful. Anyway this shop is very good and for anyone who loves Portugal wines I definetly can recommend it.

18 points - Poças Vintage Port 2009

Earth, truffles, black fruit spiced, smoked, very complex and deep, really. Textured, full-bodied, with perfect acidity, round tannins, soft, very persistent and vigorous.

91 points - Poças Vintage Port 2009

A big, bold, black vintage Port, already enticingly perfumed, packed with as much rich fruit as tannin. It's in the sweet vintage Port arena, an immediately attractive wine, yet layered with enough structure to keep it maturing for many years. The final sense is all richness.

95 points - Poças Vintage Port 2009

Elegant, with a deep purple color and complex, refined flavors of dark currant, ginger, blackberry and dark plum. Boysenberry and licorice notes chime in as well, lingering on the suave and silky finish. Fruity and complex. Best from 2016 through 2034. 12,000 cases made.
