The grapes from old vines were taken to the winery in plastic boxes. On arrival in the winery they were rigorously inspected on a sorting table. The grapes with their stems were then slightly crushed and transferred to a traditional stone tank (“lagar”) where they were foot trodden. After this, the grape spirit was added to stop the fermentation and fortify the wine. Ageing for 4 years in oak vats (600 litres).

Harmonious in ripe fruit, average concentration, all ready and with good aromatic freshness. In the mouth, polished tannins, with an accessible and attractive profile, elegancy here wins the power.

This wine has a structured character suggesting it is still young. Stalky black currant fruit flavors give fresh acidity as well as firm tannins. It is very fruity, just needing to age. Drink from 2017.
