Winemaking:
Hand picking of the grapes to small baskets. Total destemming of the grapes. Wine fermentation with moderate temperature control in stainless steel vats. Manual remontage. Part of the wine rests in stainless steel vats and the rest in oak casks with an average of 3 to 4 months in oak prior to bottling.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Franca,Touriga nacional,Tinta Roriz,Tinta Barroca
Tasting Notes:
Full ruby colour. Fresh fruit with a hint of vanilla. Full bodied, smooth, sweet tannins with a very nice and long finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
To be served at a temperature between 15º to 16º C.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with grilled food, meat and specially white meat, stews, pizzas and light cheeses. Also nice with oriental cosine.
