Winemaking:
Grapes from various quality vineyards from São Jorge were used. Grapes were pressed in a continuous press. Arresting of fermentation takes place at the desired degree of sweetness by adding vinic alcohol (96%). Malvasia aged in French oak casks for over 10 years by the Canteiro method. For this blend we selected wines from our warehouses with stable temperatures year round that originate a very well balanced wine in sugar and acidity.

Grape Varieties:
Malvasia

Tasting Notes:
Bright gold colour. Floral aromas, ripe citrus, honey and almonds. Lots of depth, full and persistent.

91 points - Barbeito Malvasia 10 years Madeira

Rounded, sweet nutty nose with a tarry, raisiny edge. The palate is quite open, fresh and fruity with lively acidity and an appealing nutty finish. Smooth and long. Very good/excellent
