Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional,Touriga Franca,Tinta Roriz,Tinto Cão,Tinta Barroca
Tasting Notes:
Dark black/red colour with some violet nuances. Aroma of lush plum, primary grape and blueberry. On the palate dense and powerful fruit, well balanced and voluminous with very good tannins. Very persistent.
Store and Serve Advices:
Should be served slightly chilled in the summer and at room temperature in the winter. It is an intense, ripe and full-bodied wine, and a positive ageing in the bottle is predictable for a several years after bottling, with the wine acquiring a character of its own.
Food Pairing:
Vintage Ports are after meal drinks. Take them with cheese like Stilton or Gorgonzola. But you can also incorporate them into a meal, combining for instance a Steak au Poivre with a young Vintage.
Allergens:
Contains sulphites.
