Tasting Notes:
Very dark purple, with good intensity notes of plum and black fig, in a clean and pure profile. The alcohol is well integrated. The wine is silky at first but then the firm tannin appears, revealing its presence. The acidity and the alcohol are in harmony and reveal the big potential of this wine.

16,5 points - Quinta do Portal Vintage Classic Port 2007
Very oriented to the vegetable notes, leaving the fruit more hidden. In the mouth keeps the plant profile, now with wild berries more gifts, always a fresh record, and with strong tannins dry at the end. Little consensus, but custom, asks for more time to bottle to see how it evolves.
90 points - Quinta do Portal Vintage Classic Port 2007
The opaque purple-colored 2007 Quinta do Portal Vintage Port presents an already complex nose of Asian spices, pepper, licorice, and blackberry that leaps from the glass. This leads to a smooth-textured, plush, medium-weight Port with plenty of succulent fruit, good concentration and the balance to evolve for 8-10 years. It should still be drinking well on its 20th birthday.
87 points - Quinta do Portal Vintage Classic Port 2007
Smooth, ripe, perfumed and open, surprisingly easy at this stage. There are jammy black fruits, hints of toffee, the finish sweet and soft.
88 points - Quinta do Portal Vintage Classic Port 2007
Big, grapey and raisiny, with coffee bean, plum jam and tar aromas and flavors. Full-bodied, very sweet and velvety. A more forward style of Vintage Port, but stylish and pretty. Best after 2014. 1,900 cases made.
