Alvariño gratefully dicovered!
My lovely daughter bought me three Portuguese white wines for Christmas - one stood out! We know Albarinho of CJ ourse from Soo ok Ain and havd always loved that crisp sharp tang of that grape- perfect with fish bug honestly we find many reasons to drink it. The QG Alvarinho clearly looked familiar (but we were cautious) and yet...on tasting we were totally delighted!! I have been to Portugal and generally kept to older reds- but this crisp duper dry white wine is a revelation and totally great surprise. My wife and I were so thrilled & delighted we enjoyed every drop..sadly rather too quickly- that is why i am hunting down more!
