My first order, arrived orderly in my home in Sweden after a week. In fact, more convenient than buying at a local shop!!! To say nothing of the choice available.

Large selection of wines at a fair price. Perfect packaging and timely shipping. Possibility to interact with a customer service efficient. One of the best among the many experiences of buying wine online. Highly recommended. Bruno Molinelli (sommelier)

94 pts Wine Spectator - Inky purple-black colour with a deep garnet rim. Lovely fragrant nose of blackberry, rockrose, and clove. Full and generous palate with flavours of concentrated blackcurrant fruit and bitter chocolate, liquorice and spice, coated in ripe peppery tannins. One of the finest Ribeira wines that we have produced, it is sensational now, but will age very well indeed.

Winemaking:
Senhora da Ribeira’s wines are some of the finest in the Douro and they complement those from Bomfim in the composition of Dow’s classic Vintage Ports. The quinta’s high proportion of old vines (45% are over 25 years old) is of critical importance. The old vines are very low-yielding, producing on average less than 1Kg of grapes each, giving intense and concentrated musts which are ideal for classic Vintage Port.

17 points - Dows Qta Sra da Ribeira Vintage Port 2006

Fruit macerated with a strong penchant, pure and hard with Vintage flavor. In the mouth it is noticed because the year was classic: the wine has good structure but give us the impression that surely will be more appreciated if it is consumed again. The set is currently giving an excellent proof.
