Grapes were carefully selected and transported in boxes of 20 kg. Half of the Verdelho was vinified by foot trodden and endured cold maceration during 3 days, the remaining 50% has been vinified with the whole grape in a press. The Sercial by direct pressing and both were fermented at controlled temperatures between 10ºC and 15ºC. 50% of Verdelho aged for 1 year in new and used French oak casks; the rest in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. In October 3811 units were bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Citrus colour. Subtropical fruit with a volcanic note, typical of the poor basaltic soils of the north of the island. Nuance of toast with subtle wood nicely integrated. Dry yet creamy on the palate, standing out for its refreshing acidity highlighting the pleasant savoury aftertaste.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 8-10ºC.
