Tasting Notes:
It presents a deep red color. Its aroma is intense and complex, which dominates plum, cassis, resin, cedar and cloves and nutmeg. It is still highlight aromas of violet and some chocolate, always in perfect harmony with discreet wood, well integrated and excellent quality. In the mouth reveals great elegance, being remarkable its volume, balanced acidity, excellent quality tannins and black fruit aromas, spices and floral. Very long and great harmony.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be kept horizontally in a dry and cool place. Quinta da Leda is a surprising wine whose qualities can be enhanced if opened some time prior to serving, (ideally one hour), as well as decanted. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.
Food Pairing:
Its elegant and complex profile makes it ideal with fine meats, game and intense cheeses. One suggestion is to serve it with duck magret with noodles, Chinese mushrooms and rocket.
