The grapes are from a 35 years old vineyard from Quinta da Manoella estate with southwestern exposure. The harvest was planned for the third week of September in perfect weather conditions. All grapes previously selected and destemmed were foot trodden in stone lagares during all the fermentation process (8days). The aging was developed in old French oak barrels during 16 months.

Tasting Notes:
Dark red colour. On the nose, sweet black cherry, chocolate soufflé, currants and sour cherries. On the palate, pure harmony, rich fruit and cherry aromas, fine tannins. A full bodied, charming finale.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
This wine finely accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
