Winemaking:Quinta do Noval is a blended wine using the noble grape varieties of Douro, the majority of which are Touriga Nacional supported by Touriga Franca and Tinto Cão. All grapes come from the Quinta do Noval vineyard. We use the “remontage” method for wine in stainless steel vats, with temperatures held at 26ºC. All wine is matured in French oak casks for approximately 18 months.

Tasting Notes:
Pure aromatic nose is really fresh with lovely definition and great purity of sweet blackberry and raspberry fruit. The palate is fresh and supple with lovely pure summer pudding fruit and some nice spicy structure. Nicely defined.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 16-18°C.

Good during a meal, with a starter or meat.

The wines from our rarity zone are stored and air-conditioned in the most correct way so that the wine ages correctly in the bottle, but over time, the wine evolves and changes its characteristics.
We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
