This wine is made entirely with Touriga Nacional, from the vineyards of Quinta do Noval, in the heart of the Douro. It is fermented in stainless steel vats for 8 days, followed by malolactic fermentation for another three weeks. The wine is aged in barrels for 12 months, 33% in new 225 liter French oak barrels.

This wine has an intense colour that immediately conveys its character. It is very expressive with intense aromas of wild berries associated with spicy notes. The wood notes from the barrels are very well integrated. A tannic structure of great firmness and balance runs through the wine.

Good aging potential. Serve at 16-18°C.
