Winemaking:The grapes coming from Quinta da Pacheca Touriga Nacional vineyard, after a careful selection were taken to the winery in plastic boxes. The grapes were completely destemmed and slightly crushed. After this the must was transferred to the stone tanks (lagares) were the grapes were foot trodden and fermented for 10 days. After the malolactic fermentation in stainless steel vats the wine was racked into new French oak barrels for 14 months.

Tasting Notes:
It has a very concentrated flavour with balsamic oak notes, red fruit and bergamot aroma. Deep on the palate, round with silky tannins with a long and fresh finish.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
Food Pairing:
This wine finely accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.

We recommend that you carefully remove the cork and let the wine air for some time in order to release its natural aromas. Avoid decanting as it can be a very aggressive operation for old wines.
