Quinta do Isaac's excellent wines

The history of Quinta do Isaac became reality in 2012, a small property in the center of the Douro region, more precisely in Pinhão, acquired by Isaac Paiva, a businessman who dreamed of producing wines.
To achieve that, he challenged his friend Luís Lopes, which knows well the Douro region, to produce excellent wines with his own personality and identity, and thus reach the authentic expression of his terroir through the practice of biological agriculture.
Seeking to take advantage of the balance between biodiversity and the environment, optimizing natural resources, in terms of flora and fauna, and eliminating the use of synthetic products, in this way they manage to increase the quality of the grapes in a natural way and turn into products like Quinta do Isaac Red 2015, made only with grapes from their own vineyards where organic viticulture is practiced. A wine composed of the traditional grape varieties such as Sousão, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, which shows a complex and intense aroma to the wine, with ripe black fruits standing out, together with balsamic aromas and notes of spices, from its aging in barrel. A firm and concentrated wine, with balanced acidity, of ripe tannins well involved in its body and volume, in a very long and persistent finish.
One of its most special wines is Quinta dos Montes Parcela 5 Red 2017, produced from old vines from a single piece of land, transformed into a wine of dense color and deep aroma, where black fruits are presented with some barrel notes, which makes it even more engaging. With a good volume, it brings complexity and a balance with alcohol, with firm and present tannins, which recommend calm and appreciation in consumption.
In ancient soils, they seek tradition in the Douro and align it with the biological culture that takes its first steps in the world of wine, showing that it is possible to achieve excellence, with little human intervention.
