That's why we've prepared a selection that seems to fit this spirit perfectly!
Fonte da Vila Single Vineyard Red 2015 is the top of the range at Quinta da Biaia. A Biological and Vegan wine made from Rufete, Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Baga, Jaen, Mourisco, among others. Great aromatic complexity, showing both intensity and precision and elegance. It has notes of black fruit, wild fruit jam, Chinese ink, licorice, tobacco, dark chocolate and spices. When tasting, it shows flavour and volume that seems to have no end, with silky tannins, all in a combination supported by a delicate and delicious acidity. Perfect to accompany meat dishes such as Roasted Lamb or Duck Breast.
From the left bank of the Douro River, between Pinhão and Foz da Tua, the Churchill's Gricha Tinto 2018 arrives. Made with the typical varieties of the region, it is a wine that has a bright black cherry colour. With a lot of complexity on the nose, combining aromas of spices, cedar wood and fresh blueberries. Elegant and seductive in the mouth, with velvety notes of mint leaves, raspberries and a long and persistent mineral finish. Ideal to accompany medium intensity cheeses or seasoned oven dishes.
The Outono de Santar Late Harvest 2016 is born from a blend of 90% Encruzado and 10% Furmint. Botrized, with nuances of butter, lightly toasted nuts, dried apricot and citrus flowers. A complex wine with distinct freshness, unctuous and well balanced. Long and persistent finish. Serve it with a delicious dessert.
Louriana Xo is the top of the range of DOC Lourinhã brandies, aged in French oak and Portuguese oak barrels. It has an intense and fruity aroma, with notes of vanilla, wood, coffee and nuts. In the mouth it is soft, sweet, with a slight smoke and is persistent. The right company to accompany the end of the meal.
