The Quinta Nova in Douro is among the top 5 estates in Douro for table wines and the release of the super premium wines from the estate is something all wine enthusiast anger for.
The Mirabilis red is only released in year of exceptional quality and the 2017 vintage is now in store, already tasted in Robert Parker with 98 points, a perfect score for a wine in the €100 euros price mark.
The estate released also a unique wine to celebrate the 20 years of the project and the life and work of Américo Amorim. It’s a release of just 3566 bottles and from the memorable 2017 harvest in this estate. This Quinta Nova Aeterunus Red 2017 got 96 points in Robert Parker and it’s released at €165.
The Amorim family is now also present in Alentejo with the recent investment in the Herdade Aldeia de Cima.
2017 was the first harvest and with the winemaking in charge of Jorge Alves and António Cavalheiro.
