Grapes from the Quinta de S. Luiz lead to more intense and concentrated wines which express the essence of the Upper Douro terroir. Released in years of exceptionally rich harvest, this limited production edition, belongs to a lot of excellence aged over 16 months in French oak barrels.
The magnificent combination of noble Touriga Nacional with Sousão grapes, reveals an elegant and complex aroma of ripe berries, with pleasant notes of fine spices. Expressive and fresh on the palate, surprising the firm and fine tannins that enhance its unique and sophisticated character.
Store and Serve Advices:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
This wine finely accompanies red meats, roast beef and grilled meats.
