Winemaking:
One of the landmarks in Dão, the Grutas de São João, and probably the first real special reserve made in the region.

Touriga Nacional

Tasting Notes:
The empathy with the aroma is immediate with the variety appearing here very well involved with the fruit notes and without protagonism. Light balsamic help with complexity. Elegant in the mouth, with fine tannins, perfect acidity and good balance. Intensely gastronomic.

Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be kept horizontally in a dry and cool place, sheltered from light. Choose the right moment to drink it, and take time to prepare the bottle and enjoy the occasion. Ideally, the bottle should be stood upright the night before. Serve between 16ºC-18ºC.

Food Pairing:
It should be decanted before serving to separate the wine from the natural deposit. Then sit back, relax, and enjoy it, accompanied by fine red meat or game dishes, or even hard cheeses.
