Grape Varieties:
Old Vines
Tasting Notes:
The component wines for this limited-edition bottling have been individually selected and blended by Taylor’s blenders. The attention to detail in the cellars is displayed on the palate of this extraordinary wine, where notes of anise, marzipan, quince, and subtle hints of butterscotch, overlaid with astonishing refinement and balanced acidity. The decades of ageing in wood have concentrated this wine almost to an essence, producing intense, complex nutty and spicy aromas, elevated by a crisp acidity which gives the wine an attractive freshness.
Store and Serve Advices:
The bottle should be kept upright, protected from direct sun light and at a cool and constant temperature. The wine benefits from being served slightly chilled, between 12ºC to 16ºC.
Food Pairing:
Combines well with flavours of figs, almonds and caramel. It is an excellent complement for a crème brûlée or a plate of wild strawberries. It may also be appreciated on its own, at the end of the meal, with walnuts or dried fruit.
