Winemaking:
The grapes are destemmed and crushed directly to a vat; 3 days cold soak; alcoholic fermentation at 24ºC to preserve fruit flavours: Malolactic fermentation in French new oak ( 40% of the wine). Aged for 12 months in French 1st,2nd and 3rd years oak barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Deep purple red colour. On the nose look for red fruit, coffee and chocolate. Complex with notes of wet soil. On the palate fresh and tasty red fruit standing out. Steady, persistent with a earthy character typical of the cooler areas of the Alentejo.
Store and Serve Advices:
Serve at 15ºC.
Food Pairing:
Pair with goat cheeses, steak, vegetable lasagne, veal stew and beef.
