Tasting Notes:
With an intense, closed, garnet violet colour. In the nose intense notes of the herb Menthe Pulegium (penny royal), black fruit, spices and toast. In the palate it’s got a good freshness with polished tannins, complexity, fruit and notes of chocolate truffles, with a light mineral end.
Store and Serve Advices:
Best served between 17ºC-18ºC.
Food Pairing:
It pairs perfectly with hot dishes, whether they are traditional cuisine (game and roasted meat) or stewed meat (seasoned, white or red). It defies new harmonisations, including with fish, being the choice of the garnish a prominent element for the pairing: rich dishes with the earth/sea confrontation. Another small trick is to use some preparation of red wine in the dish.
