A huge range of wines and very good value. I once had to cancel which was not an issue and money was refunded within a couple of hours. Shipping to Scotland can be a bit slow and bank on 8 to 9 days from ordering.

Winemaking:
Warre’s has established itself as one of the most forward thinking Port producers, balancing its long tradition with total dedication to premium quality and successful innovation. Warre’s launch of Otima 10 & 20 Year Old Tawny caused a revolution in Port that introduced a completely new concept to consumers, helping to rejuvenate Port’s image in the main markets. Otima is now widely acknowledged as the most successful new development in the Port trade for over 25 years. The merit of Otima was to show Port’s versatility as an all year round, anytime drink, appealing to both women and men, dispelling many of the myths attached to Port. The clean, modern design was matched by an excellent wine that has been winning Gold and Silver medals at the world’s leading blind tasting competitions year after year, leaving no doubt that the quality of the wine is on par with the outstanding, award-winning packaging.

86 points - Warres Otima 10 years Port

I was a bit disappointed by this: the packaging is just right, but the wine doesn’t match it. Fruity, nutty nose is a little simple. Sweet, rounded fruit on the palate with some soft spiciness. Tasty but a little simple. Very good+

16,5 points - Warres Otima 10 years Port

Slight colour, take note of cherry liquor, all of it thin and fresh, light in the mouth, well proportioned, suggestions of fruit in each, gambling on elegance, fineness and delicacy. Quite attractive. Bottled 2014.

93 points - Warres Otima 10 years Port

The NV Otima 10 Year Old Tawny Port was bottled in 2014. Tasted with a group of other "10s," this Otima was immediately recognizable simply because of its lighter color. Nothing else was close to it, including others that were more on the light side. This is a Tawny that's intended to be a bit different, lighter and more elegant, easier to drink. You'll either gravitate to its style or you won't. While it is not always going to be everyone's first choice in long-aged Tawnies, it succeeds well on its own terms and in its own context. Unctuous in texture, very sweet and remarkably elegant, this is most enhanced by its lovely and lingering finish, chock full of flavor. Never even a little bit heavy, and with the power, aromatics and concentration well constrained also, this should be an easy drinker that is universally popular. Barring cork failures, it will hold fine for a couple of decades or more, but it's not intended to be aged. Note that this has a bar top cork. The price references a 500-milliliter bottle.

87 points - Warres Otima 10 years Port

This hits the sweet spot between fruit and wood-aging flavors. The red fruit tones have just begun to raisin, touches of wood-aging notes and integrated acidity. Not too sweet, it finishes with a fresh, rich aftertaste.

90 points - Warres Otima 10 years Port

Well-honed, with a touch of sweetness to the plush flavors of butterscotch, pear tart, almond and vanilla. Orange peel and dried ginger accents emerge on the seductively spicy finish. Drink now. 8,500 cases imported.
